PNG includes resolution metadata. PDF has the stated physical page size and an RGB raster image; JPEG has exact pixels. Export resizing cannot recover blurry details. Zoom/rotation do not change what the AI received. Exact typography, barcode, spine, safe areas, color profile and PDF/X or other printer requirements must be checked against the printer’s current template. The companion can list files, read supported text files in a folder you choose, and run tasks you configured locally. It asks for local approval unless you explicitly approve named unattended tasks for that session. It does not provide remote mouse/screen control.
Download desktop companion (.mjs)On the laptop, review the downloaded script, install Node.js 22 or later, then run node godbot-desktop.mjs --root /path/to/your/project. Enter your password only in that laptop terminal. Never put passwords in Chat.

Submit a text task to keep working after this app closes. Results appear in Work or Code history on your signed-in devices. This uses your normal AI allowance and stores the task with the AI provider for background processing.
